When Korie Nelson found out that both her sisters became sick she decided to use her gift of health and run the Ogden Marathon. That was three years ago. Saturday May 19, 2018, Korie will run the marathon for her third time.

The Argo House is a large house located on 25th Street in Ogden. The plan is to develop the house into mixed use creative offices and construction is underway. The house will be part of Ogden’s budding creative district.
The Thortstensen building is located at 2331 Grant Ave in downtown Ogden. A craft brewery plans to occupy a portion of the ground level but its upstairs remains vacant. Great views of Lindquist Feild are visible from the top floor and roof.
The Swift Building is Located just north of the 24th street bridge along the banks of the Weber River in Ogden. It is owned by Ogden City and is in a bad state if disrepair. The city plans to tear it down.
The Monarch was the old car repair garage for the Bigelow Hotel on 25th street in downtown Ogden. Now there are grand plans in the next year to restore it and make it a multi-use creative and studio space. Thaine Fischer, a local historical building developer, talks about how the spaces will be developed as part of Ogden’s growing creative district.
The Hurst Building is located at 2435 Kiesel Ave in downtown Ogden. Lotus, a Salt Lake City developer, owns the building and there has been talk of making it a boutique hotel.
The First Security Building or Wells Fargo Building was built in 1926 and if in the heart of downtown Ogden. It is twelve floors making it the tallest building in the city.
The Exchange building is located on Exchange Road in west Ogden. It was built in the 1930s as part of one of the largest stock yards in the country. The Trackline Economic Development area is now being built up around it.
