Father Jamie Cannon and his son, Koy Cannon, took the top spot in this year’s contest with 47 votes and a tie-breaking vote among the Standard-Examiner’s staff.
The winning pair is receiving a $300 gift certificate to Recreation Outlet, which sponsored the contest.

Davis High and Weber High cheerleaders competed in a national competition in Anaheim, California on March 25-26. Davis placed third, while Weber finished fourth.
More than 40 red and white quilts are on display through Saturday, March 25, at the “Utah Quilt Guild Ruby Jubilee Exhibition” at the Brigham City Museum of Art and History. Quilters used many techniques to create their sewed works of art.
